You can sense from the first listen that he’s in a more introspective space as he mixes confidence with a quiet, collected approach.
The production of “Holy Water” is clean and does not detract from the message. Yung6ix does well to keep it under control till the end, with the flow sitting well on the beat. The track feels deliberate, not haphazard, and that’s part of why it works.
This track gives dimension to the whole project, which is his latest release, “Big 6ix EP.” It shows he’s grown up and learned more about his sound.
