Liberian Afro-pop artist Spize returns with his second release of the year, the heartfelt single “Woman,” which arrived July 10.
The track follows his earlier single “Road” and marks another chapter for the Libmuzik signee, who has steadily built a following across West Africa. Produced by ACool and GeGe, with mixing and mastering handled by Extreme Beat, “Woman” has already crossed 22,000 streams on Audiomack since its release. Spize wrote the song as a tribute to the women who inspire and support him, addressing themes of appreciation, loyalty, and devotion.
Spize came up through Liberia’s independent music circuit before signing with Libmuzik, where he released a string of singles that gained traction regionally. He has appeared at events like the 17th Headies Awards in Nigeria and recently dropped his three-track EP “Not By Accident,” which includes songs like “Hallelujah.” His work sits comfortably in the Afro-pop lane, blending melodic hooks with mid-tempo grooves.
The production on “Woman” leans on clean guitar lines and soft basslines, layered with light percussion and a steady kick drum. Spize moves between falsetto runs and relaxed melodies, keeping his delivery smooth and unhurried. The arrangement gives his voice space to carry the emotion without crowding the mix.
