JAZZWRLD taps Ciniso for a vulnerable collaboration on “Uphuli’iNhlizayo Yam’,” a standout track from his debut album that explores heartbreak.
The Lesotho-born producer opens the second half of his debut album Secrets of the WRLD with “Uphuli’iNhlizayo Yam’,” a track built on 3-Step house foundations and dark atmospheric layers. Ciniso’s expressive vocals carry the emotional weight throughout, while heavy log-drum patterns and sharp rhythmic percussion underscore themes of heartbreak and betrayal. The title speaks directly to romantic pain – a broken heart expressed through both production and performance.
JAZZWRLD has spent years building his name across the regional scene. His work spans 3-Step, amapiano, and soulful house territories, often moving between producer credits and collaborative moments with artists across South Africa and beyond. This album marks his first major solo statement after a string of behind-the-scenes work that shaped some of the continent’s biggest sounds.
