South African Amapiano producer ShaunMusiq is bringing a 21-track album called “MISSING PIECE” that arrives globally on July 31, 2026. The project, released through Kgaday (Pty) Ltd and Sony Music Entertainment Africa, spotlights ShaunMusiq’s evolving production style while assembling some of the most exciting voices in the South African music scene.
A standout moment comes with “Uzophonela,” where Nkosazana Daughter, Mkeyz, and Tshepo Keyz join ShaunMusiq over his log-drum-driven production. Nkosazana Daughter’s signature smooth Amapiano vocals sit perfectly against the carefully crafted instrumentation, creating one of the album’s most memorable collaborations.
Beyond that track, the album brings together Daliwonga, Nomfundo Moh, LeeMcKrazy, Thatohatsi, Mashudu, Eemoh, Zee Nxumalo, Asive, and more. ShaunMusiq has built a catalogue that moves fluidly across Amapiano’s emotional and rhythmic spectrum – from soulful performances to stripped-back production moments. His prior work alongside artists like Young Stunna and Myztro shows his ability to balance different voices within a single sound.
