The title comes from Tanzanian street slang, combining “Buku” (one thousand) and “Jero” (five hundred) to represent 1,500 Tanzanian Shillings. However, the song’s message goes beyond money. Mbosso reflects on his mother’s unconditional love, prayers, and support while addressing struggles, financial pressure, and the disappointment of people hiding behind fake smiles. Directed by Fole X under the Watu Wa Fole banner, the official visuals deepen the emotional story.
