CKay closes his third studio album BANGER BOY with “BYE BYE,” a reflective final track turning inward after the project’s street energy.
The song arrived as the last cut on the 12-track album, which also features Mavo, Kidd Carder, and Phyno. “BYE BYE” was recorded at Boyfriend Music Studios in Lagos, and it carries CKay’s signature melodic production style.
CKay, born Chukwuka Ekweani in Kaduna State, has built momentum with recent singles like “E CLEAR” and “AFRICAN GIRLS” ahead of this project. His previous album Sad Romance helped establish his emotional Afrobeats lane, but BANGER BOY pushes into broader territory.
On “BYE BYE,” the mood turns inward. His smooth vocal delivery balances vulnerability with confidence, creating a sense of closure after a journey of transformation. The track feels like a final statement, wrapping the album’s themes of growth and creative freedom into one atmospheric moment.
