Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Swayvee opens a new chapter with “PersWaysion,” an 8-track Afro-fusion EP that starts his conceptual series, A Yearner’s Diary.
The EP moves between smooth Afro-R&B, melodic Afro-fusion, and upbeat grooves, so no single mood dominates. Swayvee explores desire, romance, vulnerability, and the daily chase for a better life across the eight tracks. That variety gives the project a cohesive feel, even as he shifts direction from one song to the next.
Collaborations also add depth here, because Wizard Chan, Keleya, Scottyolorin, Fergiee, JayJayy, and Bola Bmh each bring something different to the table.
