Hausa singer Umar M Shareef returns with the new single “DADI,” continuing his steady run of releases.

The record dropped on 21 August through Shareef Studios Invest Nig Ltd, and it lands as a teaser for his eight-track album SOYAYYA TA from late 2025. Mahadi Gramr handles production here, keeping the runtime tight at three minutes and twenty-three seconds.

Shareef sits at the center of the record, and his presence carries the whole thing. He has built a solid audience across northern Nigeria’s Hausa pop scene, with extra reach through his Kannywood connections.

The short runtime works in his favor because it keeps the focus on his vocal delivery. The production stays lean, so his performance holds the attention without any distraction.
