DJ Smallz revives his trusted circle with “Ngyazama,” a new Amapiano record bringing Zee Nxumalo, ZinedinexSguche, Brodie.Bro, and Mdeshkayro together.
This one carries real weight because the “ZEP” project has pulled in over 30 million total streams across digital platforms. So every DJ Smallz drop now faces that comparison. “Ngyazama” does not chase that same sound though. It offers different energy to the same creative family instead. ZinedinexSguche returns from the previous lineup, while Mdeshkayro steps in with fresh dimensions the earlier record never touched.
Zee Nxumalo is the headline addition here. Her “Funk 55” single holds 5x Platinum certification in South Africa, so her commercial pull speaks for itself. Her vocal warmth also sits nicely over DJ Smallz’s Amapiano production. Because of that, the collaboration never feels forced.
This release makes sense right now because it builds on a proven formula without repeating it. The pressure from “ZEP” is real, but this record answers with its own identity rather than imitation.
