Nigerian Afrobeats talent FOLA has dropped “It’s Over,” a surprise record that pairs him with Bella Shmurda and Zlatan.
The song lands as a high-energy cut built around ambition and triumph. Bella Shmurda brings his streetwise delivery, while Zlatan adds his energetic rap presence. The result is a lively exchange between all three artists.
They ride a vibrant Afro-fusion groove that keeps “It’s Over” moving from start to finish. FOLA also gives the release a personal touch through its cover artwork. The image features what appears to be an old factory identification badge tied to his days working manual labour in Ibadan. That contrast says plenty about the distance he has covered since then.
He calls Bella Shmurda his mentor, so the link-up carries weight beyond the studio. Zlatan, meanwhile, represents the street-pop side of the sound. Together, the three voices push the record forward without crowding each other.
