Amapiano fans get another vocal pairing as Sims Noreng drops “Chomi Yami” with Mavee DripGod and Mabena102 on board. The record lands as the fourth song on his debut project, NorengVille, and it keeps the EP’s Amapiano direction firmly in place.
Released on September 11, 2026, “Chomi Yami” follows “Mabhebheza,” “Ko Morao,” and “Hololo” on the seven-track project. Mabena102 already appeared on “Hololo,” so his return gives the EP a familiar voice across two different moments.
Sims Noreng builds the production around the same rhythmic elements that run through NorengVille. But the vocal setup changes things here, because Mavee DripGod and Mabena102 split the performance and give the song a layered character.
The result sits within the energetic South African sound the project has carried from the start. It also expands the lineup of featured artists across the EP, while the project moves toward its second half.
