South African producer and artist Mordecai returns with a soulful Amapiano record titled “Cabanga Nje,” teaming up with JayJayy and NTK101. The track leans into smooth Amapiano, pairing deep log drums with jazzy chords and expressive vocals. Mordecai’s production gives the record a warm, laid-back feel, while JayJayy and NTK101 add their own presence to the collaborative performance.
“Cabanga Nje” arrived on September 11, 2026, through Rapture Music Group, after social media teasers had already built interest. The release also continues a strong working relationship between the three artists. Mordecai and JayJayy have previously joined forces on “Di Kgomo,” while NTK101 appeared on “Sunset in SophiaTown,” a track from Mordecai’s Blondecai project. So the new single pulls those connections together once again.
