Masterkraft – Ekele ft. DJ iRems

Nigerian producer Masterkraft teams up with DJ iRems on “Ekele,” a 2026 Pop collaboration off the full-length Party Starter (PS2) project.

The title borrows an Igbo phrase meaning thanks, greeting or thankfulness. So the record carries a name rooted in culture, yet it needs no invented lyrical reading.

DJ iRems has another distinct partner here, because the project stretches across numerous artists. The song runs over four minutes and it is recorded in English, while its DJ pairing gives the credit a different shape than Masterkraft’s work with singers elsewhere on the album.

Across his career, Masterkraft has worked on popular Pop productions and indigenous-leaning collaborations. He has mined Nigerian language and culture throughout, so “Ekele” fits a collection that has never confined itself to one musical clientele.
