British electronic group Clean Bandit has now linked up with Omah Lay and Chlöe on “Company,” a fresh cross-genre collaboration.
The record connects electronic pop, R&B, and Afrobeats in one space. Clean Bandit brings the sleek electronic textures while Omah Lay and Chlöe add their own flavour to the mix. That contrast between the three acts is what gives “Company” its character.
Fans got the song earlier than expected. The group moved up the release and made it available worldwide at 7:00 PM UK time. So instead of waiting, listeners woke up to a new Clean Bandit track sitting on every major platform.
The drop also comes with an official music video on Clean Bandit’s YouTube channel. So the release stretches beyond audio alone. Meanwhile, the unexpected pairing has sparked plenty of conversation online, because nobody saw this trio coming together.
It also offers a preview of what lies ahead from the British group and their upcoming studio album. For Omah Lay, it marks another international link-up. For Chlöe, it adds another cross-genre credit to her name.
