South African DJ and producer Justin99 steps out alone on “Restart,” a solo cut from his 2026 debut album, 99 Problems. The track gives him room to work without a guest vocalist, and that space shapes everything about how it moves.
It follows his March single “Hola Mamacita,” so the album arrives with some momentum behind it. Justin Mpho King handles the production himself, building an Amapiano record with a noticeably quick pace and a long groove. Instead of vocal runs carrying the structure, repetition and movement do the heavy lifting.
That choice puts the delivery under a different kind of pressure. There is no featured voice to trade lines with, so every vocal touch has to sit inside the rhythm rather than ride over it. The result leans on timing and restraint more than range.
“Restart” also adds to the production-led side of his catalog, giving listeners another way in beyond the collaborative tracks that built his name in the South African Amapiano scene. It is available on all major digital streaming platforms.
