South African singer and composer Tyla has released a new song titled “Freak.”

On “Freak,” Tyla shakes things up a bit, adding a little extra attitude to the mix. Her typical smoothness still runs through the tune, but there’s a certain edge to the delivery.

The production is bouncier than the previous two, making it seem more alive and yet still controlled. “Freak” is confident, expressive, and a little playful.

Another nice addition to her “A-Pop Album,” and it shows her range, flipping moods without losing herself.
