Ajegunle-born Afrobeat artist Bahd Man Niko has released a full-length studio album titled “Son of the Stone” into the street-pop circuit. The project arrives as a statement of resilience and marks a significant creative leap for the Lagos performer.

The album holds five tracks, including “Toofan” and “Life Is A Vibe” featuring Wizard Chan. Production across the record leans on heavy kick drums, warm guitar tones, and sharp shaker patterns, while dark synth rolls layer over Afro-fusion rhythms to create a head-nodding soundscape. The percussion sits wide enough in the mix to let Niko’s vocal delivery cut through cleanly.

Adam Ademola Olawepo, who performs as Bahd Man Niko, was born in March 1997 and has built a cult following through previous EPs like “Off The Planet (OTP)” in 2023 and “BOYAHNAH” in 2024. His earlier collaborations include work with Bella Shmurda on “Delilah,” and singles such as “Yard” and “Close Friends” helped establish his presence in the trench-pop lane.

“Son of the Stone” reflects the rawness Lagos street stories demand and positions Niko as a voice willing to chronicle unvarnished realities. His vocal style and streetwise chants remain central to how the album communicates its themes of faith and progress.
