Canadian rapper Dax returns with a raw and reflective new single titled “Trauma,” pulled from his upcoming project “Anger Management.”
The track arrives as part of a larger body of work, with the full album expected to surface on August 7, 2026. Dax digs into heavy subject matter here, exploring pain, memory, and the weight of past experiences. Production comes courtesy of Backnine Z and TK RUN IT UP, while Eric Klem handled mixing and engineering duties.
Known for his emotionally charged storytelling, Dax has built a catalog that spans introspective hip-hop and hard-hitting rap. His earlier projects include “From A Man’s Perspective” and “Pain Paints Paintings,” records that established him as a voice for honest conversation. He has cited Tupac and Eminem as major influences on his approach.
“Trauma” continues that tradition, offering listeners a chance to sit with difficult feelings rather than run from them. The song fits neatly alongside his previous work while pushing his sound into even more vulnerable territory.
