Ayra Starr keeps her Starrgirl roll going with the new Kwn-assisted record, titled “Amazing.”
The song sits second on her third studio album, Starrgirl, which lands August 14, 2026. It follows the opener “Dangerous,” and writing credits include O. S. Aderibigbe, Khyra Wilson, and Darius Coleman. Kwn steps in for a verse that stretches the record’s international feel.
Ayra Starr, born Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, moves across Afrobeats, R&B, and alté with ease. She grew up in Cotonou, Lagos, and Abuja, and her catalogue already includes the massive “Rush,” the most streamed solo song by a female Nigerian artist on Spotify. Starrgirl pulls in Wizkid and Leon Thomas on other tracks, so the feature list alone turns heads.
But “Amazing” hits a softer, warmer register than the album’s bigger names suggest. Its placement early in the tracklist sets a mellow tone before the heavier collaborations arrive. That sequencing feels deliberate, giving the record breathing room.
