Tanzanian music star Alikiba, known to fans as King Kiba, has released “Natubu,” a solo single under his Kings Music Records imprint. The Swahili title translates to “I Repent,” so the song carries a theme of regret, accountability and personal reflection.
His vocals sit at the centre of “Natubu,” while the writing leans on repentance rather than the usual Bongo Flava flexing. It is a reflective addition to his 2026 output. Because the title carries meaning for Swahili speakers, the record reaches listeners who catch the emotional weight without translation.
Alikiba also has a planned 2027 studio album on the horizon. But “Natubu” gives fans fresh material in the meantime, and it keeps the focus on his solo artistry as the Kings Music Records boss continues his musical journey.
The song is available on download platforms, including Mzigotv and Bekaboy.
