Kenyan singer Bien has teamed up with Wuodomollo and Cleopatra Mukula on “I’ll Be Okay,” a soulful new single from his coming album. The record arrives as his first solo outing in six months, following “Finale,” and it lands right in the middle of his album rollout.
Bien co-wrote the track with Wuodomollo and Cleopatra Mukula, while BGRZ, Remy Baggins, and Bien himself handled production. Bensoul and Wuodomollo also add backing vocals, which gives “I’ll Be Okay” extra warmth underneath its smooth sound. The song deals with heartbreak, regret, and the hard work of moving on. It speaks to anyone nursing a broken heart, so the message stays easy to hold onto.
Bien, real name Bien-Aimé Alusa Baraza, is a member of Sauti Sol and a Nairobi native. He grew up around music and performance, and his soulful voice has carried him far beyond the group.
Choosing a solo single now makes sense, because it keeps his name active while the album builds. It also gives listeners a quiet moment to sit with their own healing. The official video, directed by Melih Kun, extends that mood.
