Dark Tz has linked up with Lody Music for “Nikuone,” a melodic Bongo Flava record built on romance and longing. The Tanzanian pair trade lines over a smooth arrangement, so the mood stays tender from start to finish. “Nikuone” means “so I can see you” in Swahili, and that meaning shapes the lyrical direction of the song.
The track arrived on October 2, 2026, and it leans on soft percussion and warm keys rather than heavy drums. Background vocals sit low in the mix, which gives the melody room to breathe. Dark Tz carries the lead, while Lody Music adds his smooth vocal style to the collaboration.
Lody Music is a known name in Tanzania’s R&B and Bongo Flava scene, with sentimental records like “Kubali” and “Mahbuba” behind him. Dark Tz, however, is still building his sound, and this pairing puts his emerging voice beside an established one.
Romantic Bongo Flava keeps finding new hands to shape it, and this release adds another entry to that run.
