DJ Maphorisa, DJ Tunez and Wizkid have finally given fans “Fiesta,” the closing track off their joint South Gidi EP. The song also brings Zaba and Zeh McGeba into the mix for the final celebration.
It serves as the third and last record on the three-song project that bridges Lagos and Johannesburg. As the closer, “Fiesta” has to send the EP off with energy instead of letting it fade. The production leans into bright percussive layers and call-and-response chants, so it feels built for movement from the first bar.
Wizkid glides over the groove with that laid-back delivery, while Zaba and Zeh McGeba add South African texture and urgency to the verses. DJ Tunez’s touch shows up in the transitions and vocal processing, which gives the track its modern sheen without overwhelming the Amapiano foundation underneath.
The South Gidi project grew out of London studio sessions in September 2025. Clips of the trio working together surfaced online and stirred up fans, so expectations ran high. “Fiesta” carries that cross-continental intent right into its runtime, yet it does not try to be the deepest record on the project. Instead, it works as a proper send-off.
