Nigerian DJ and producer DJ YK Mule is back with another street-ready record as “Blacks Energy” lands for dance floors. Released on September 29, 2026, the track arrives as a single project under his own name. It follows September’s “Time To Dance,” so the momentum stays steady. But this one leans harder into pure movement, with a direct arrangement built for quick energy.
The song runs on an Afrosounds groove driven by rhythmic repetition. That structure suits short-form videos, party settings, and dance challenges. However, it also keeps DJ YK Mule locked in the lane he has owned for years.
His catalogue moves across Afrobeats, street beats, and the Cruise Beat style he is widely credited with originating. Tracks like “Jamiu Bulala,” “Faaaja Beat,” and “Oblee (Remix)” sit alongside “Indomie,” which found new life through TikTok.
He has spent years turning tight beats into viral crazes, while his productions keep feeding Nigeria’s beat-driven street culture. “Blacks Energy” fits that pattern without forcing anything new.
