Double Gee2x – Ore Agbako

Double Gee2x is back with a warning for anyone ignoring red flags, as “Ore Agbako” lands with a message. The Nigerian Trapruba artist uses Yoruba street slang to name the toxic friend who turns into a threat. The title says it plainly, and the song backs it up with one direct line: “When friendship turns into competition, that’s Ore Agbako. Run from Ore Agbako.”

The record grew out of memes and online chatter tied to a viral storyline about a character named Shina. One lyric points to a dispute where a friend allegedly tries to poison his companion over €500, so greed and betrayal sit at the centre. “Ore Agbako” also carries Double Gee2x’s Trapruba sound, pairing trap-leaning production with raw Yoruba street expressions.

His catalogue moves across that lane and beyond, from “Shalewa” with Kellylivinglarge to “Esin Meta Lolaye” and “Broken Souls & Broken Homes.” He has also worked with KellyLivingLarge on more than one release.

The delivery stays blunt rather than preachy, which suits the subject. Have you played “Ore Agbako” yet? Drop your take in the comments.
