Nigerian gospel minister EmmaOMG returns with “Gbayin Gbope / Korin Iyin (Medley),” a Yoruba praise medley featuring The OhEmGee Band and The OhEmGee Choir. The two outfits carry real weight here, because a medley lives or dies on how full it sounds. Their instruments support EmmaOMG’s delivery while the choir adds a congregational feel. It never feels like a solo performance with backing tacked on. Instead, the voices and band move as one unit.
The title carries a message of gratitude. “Gbayin Gbope” centres on giving God praise and thanksgiving, while “Korin Iyin” encourages believers to lift their voices in worship. EmmaOMG brings both expressions into one extended performance, and the praise develops naturally without rushing. There is room to sing along here. That matters for a Yoruba praise medley built on familiar thanksgiving.
EmmaOMG handled the production, mixing and songwriting himself. His real name is Emmanuel Edunjobi, and he has built a catalogue around Yoruba gospel music, live praise sessions and indigenous worship. So “Gbayin Gbope / Korin Iyin (Medley)” fits that lane well. The extended format also gives the choir and band space to stretch out.
