Erigga – North & South (Album)

Nigerian rappers Erigga and EESKAY bridge two regional rap identities as their joint album “North & South” arrives under Cleanblack Music.

The six-track project sees Erigga’s Warri-rooted perspective meet EESKAY’s Abuja background, yet the pair never turn that divide into a rivalry. Instead, they use it to explore survival, ambition, pressure, and the everyday Nigerian reality that binds both worlds together. Tubase and Jayscilla handle production across the record, while Kachisicho “Jefe” Ayogu-Eze manages the arrangement.

Because the runtime stays lean, the collaborative idea keeps moving without filler. That brevity, plus the persistent double billing, makes “North & South” feel like a deliberately built joint effort rather than a loose collection of features.

This project lands as a meeting point for two rap identities shaped by separate corners of Nigeria, and it proves those differences can fuel something stronger than division.
