Fally Ipupa has brought one of his earliest solo recordings back into the light as “Orgasy” returns in remastered form. The Congolese rumba favourite first appeared on his debut solo album, Droit Chemin, in 2006. Now, it resurfaces as part of his 20th-anniversary celebration.
The refreshed “Orgasy” arrived on September 18, 2026, alongside his 51-track double album, XX : Délirium. At 7 minutes and 4 seconds, the song keeps the extended format long associated with Congolese rumba. It also revisits a record that has stayed close to the singer’s catalogue.
Dedicated to Edo Mopatas, the song takes a sensual and romantic approach to love. Fally sings of affection so deep it overwhelms, and he leans on the phrase “prise de finition,” or “finishing touch,” to capture that spellbound feeling. His delivery carries the weight here, because the lyrics ride on tone rather than volume. The remaster lets that vocal sit clearer than before, yet the original warmth remains intact.
