Fanatic SA links up with Starr Healer on “Ama Emojies,” a romantic Afro-pop single that puts vocal chemistry first.
The South African producer and artist handles the production foundation here, while Starr Healer steps in with soulful vocals that shape the record’s softer side. “Ama Emojies” moves on bright rhythms and melodic songwriting, so the performance stays easy-flowing from start to finish.
Because the song leans on romance in the digital age, the delivery carries most of the weight. Starr Healer sings around the familiar habit of sending affectionate messages and letting a screen hold the feeling. Her tone keeps that idea warm instead of heavy, and the upbeat dance sound beneath her never crowds the vocal.
VMG Africa distributes the track, with Nkabi Records backing the release. The pairing also adds another collaboration to Fanatic SA’s growing catalogue, while putting Starr Healer’s voice in a brighter spotlight.
