Zambian producer KB Killa Beats has shared the visuals for “I Will Stay,” his loyalty record with Blood Kid. The song comes from his album “Love & Heartbreak 2,” where it sits at track 13 of 14. That project continues the “Love & Heartbreak” series he started in 2021, and it looks at romance from both sides. But this particular cut takes the happier road. A man promises to stand by his woman, and he thanks her for staying through good times and bad. KB produced the track himself, and he lets four voices carry the story instead of one. F Jay, often called the king of Zambian R&B, brings the smooth tone. Flex ZM and Blood Kid, also known as Blood Kid YVOK, add different textures to the mix. Brown directed the official video, which landed months after the audio. KB also heads the K Army camp, and the album features Chile One Mr Zambia, Frank Ro, Kell Kay, and Jae Cash.
Records like “I Will Stay” remind listeners how deep the Zambian R&B and soul scene runs beyond the usual club anthems. What do you make of the video? Drop your thoughts below.
