Kel-P is back with yet another strong single as the Nigerian producer and artist drops “Shakomo” for his growing audience. The new record continues a busy run that also includes “Baddie” and “Enjoy and Party,” all arriving as loose singles rather than album cuts. However, this one carries extra weight because it belongs to More Than Beats, his debut album project.
Production credits spread across KDAGREAT, Kel-P, Mike BGRZ, and EAN Music. That team built a sound that mixes modern Afrobeat energy with sharper creative edges, so the tempo works for both chill listening and packed dance floors. The single arrived on August 4, 2026 through Jones Worldwide.
Kel-P, born Udoma Peter Kelvin Amba, runs Bully Entertainment as its founder and CEO. He trained under producer Sarz in 2016 before going professional the following year, and he later worked with Burna Boy on the African Giant era. His first EP, Bully Season Vol.1, came out in 2023, and Bully Season Vol.2 followed in 2024.
While “Shakomo” stands fine on its own, it also shows how far Kel-P has moved beyond just beat-making into full artistic expression.
