Llona, born Michael Ajuma Attah, started as a rapper called Tooclasiq before finding his singing voice. That background shows in his phrasing. He rides rhythms with a rapper’s control but delivers with a singer’s warmth. Because his vocal style stays distinctive, he stands apart in the crowded Afrobeats field.
