Musical Jazz has linked with Royal Musiq, DJ Smallz, Djy Mash SA and ZinedinexSguche for “u’Jola Nobani.”
The single arrives through Kreative Kornerr and Sony Music Entertainment Africa, and it carries five names across one log drum. Royal Musiq, born Tisetso Njabulo Mkhonto, has already worked with DJ Uncle Waffles on “Zenzele,” “Wadibusa” and “Baphi,” while their joint EP “4 DA STREETS” landed in May.
DJ Smallz, born Junior Zulu in 2005, and ZinedinexSguche know each other’s patterns too. Their “ZEP” with 031choppa and Uncool MC peaked at No. 36 on the Shazam Global Chart, so the chemistry here is not new.
Musical Jazz carries a deep catalogue as well. The producer has moved through TEZE, 2SPIN, Rare Series (ODD) and Sgijapreneur III, and the range shows in the soft piano keys and unhurried bassline of “u’Jola Nobani.”
Amapiano keeps proving it can hold a crowd of voices without losing its centre. Have you played Musical Jazz – “u’Jola Nobani” yet? Drop your take in the comments.
