Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee has joined forces with DJ Kamol 2 on “PLAY PLAY,” a club-ready street-hop single. The record leans hard on rhythm, so the beat carries most of the weight here.
DJ Kamol 2 handled production alongside Ajimovoix Drums, and the pair aimed squarely at Afrosounds with a club focus. The arrangement keeps things lively rather than crowded. Fans heard pieces of it early, because DJ Kamol 2 teased the sound on TikTok and other platforms for months before the official drop.
Poco Lee brings his animated hypeman style and dance-driven cadences to the record. His name grew from movement as much as music, so this sound fits a dance floor better than a quiet listen. The release follows his earlier hit “OPERA MINI,” which paired him with Seyi Vibez.
There is one detail worth flagging. A track under the same name by DJ Kamol 2 sits on streaming databases from June 2024, so the idea may have been circulating long before now. Poco Lee’s vocals give it fresh life.
