Real Confidens returns with “Ako,” a rhythm-packed single built for street-hop fans who like their beats rough and relentless to hear.
The record leans on a forceful, mid-tempo groove. Hammering kick drums and snappy hi-hat patterns carry the weight, while a deep, rolling sub-bassline keeps the low end moving. Dark synth stabs, percussive shakers and subtle melodic riffs sit underneath the arrangement, so the bounce never feels cluttered. The mix leaves breathing room too, because every rapid-fire bar and raspy ad-lib still cuts through cleanly.
Lyrically, Real Confidens turns that energy into a street sermon. He isn’t apologetic about celebrating tenacity, street smarts and staying on watch against critics while in the area. The underground artist has already built a name with incisive thoughts and gripping chapter tales, so “Ako” fits right into his lane. It aims at West African street-pop lovers, club ravers and hip-hop heads who want hard-hitting anthems about trench survival and raw ambition.
