Algerian singer Cheb Lotfi returns with “El Barah Labestah 9achi” remix, a short, sharp single built around his lead vocal. The song runs two minutes and 34 seconds, so nothing drags. Cheb Lotfi sings lead and wrote the lyrics, while Bachir Palolo composed it. RAISHOW DZ produced and released the record, and that small team keeps the sound tight. The tempo sits at 97 BPM, which gives the vocal room to breathe.
His delivery carries the remix. The beat stays easy and danceable, yet the voice never gets buried underneath it. The video has climbed YouTube’s trending lists in both Algeria and Morocco, reaching the top 20 in each country. It has also passed 1,800 Shazams, which means listeners are actively searching for it.
Cheb Lotfi has been building a catalogue of Algerian songs on Audiomack, including titles like “Tbiba Ta3 Galbi Ntiya” and “Garha Fogtelek Rotar.” So the style is familiar to his fans, and this remix extends it.
For listeners outside North Africa, the record offers a quick window into Algeria’s current street-pop scene.
