Ghanaian rapper Strongman and singer Ayisi have joined forces on “Everlasting,” a record built around endurance and refusing to fold.
The track arrives after “The Statement,” where Strongman spoke on his standing in Ghanaian rap. Here the writing turns inward, touching hunger, faith, and carrying responsibility for people who depend on you. Ayisi takes the hook and a verse, and his melodic stretches break up the dense rap sections so nothing drags.
Apya handled production, leaving room for the bars while keeping the sound warm enough for the singing. Strongman comes into this one off “Mensei Da” winning Best Rap Performance at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, so ears were already on him. Fans who know him mainly for punchlines get something else on “Everlasting.”
The question was whether he could stretch past battle rap. He does, without losing the pen. Have you played “Everlasting” yet? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
