Veronica Adane keeps her momentum rolling as she links with Rayvanny on “Bironica” (ቢሮኒካ), a fresh East African pairing out now.
The Ethiopian pop singer and the Tanzanian Bongo Flava star built the record as a meeting point between Ethiopian pop melodies and Tanzanian rhythms. It also pulls from Wolaita culture, while the romantic theme runs through the writing.
Samson Adele (Sami Go) and Rayvanny handled the songwriting, with Gildo Kassa on arrangement. Dawit Tsegaye (DaDa) worked production, and Veronica Adane served as executive producer. Yosef Baye directed the visual through 16 Production.
That video follows a traditional Wolaita girl weaving cotton fabric, the Dungguza attire, for her father. So the clip ties directly to the song’s cultural roots instead of just dressing it up.
Veronica Adane has been building steadily, mixing AfroPop with Ethiopian sounds for young listeners at home and abroad. Her run includes the “Meteriyaye” album and singles like “Abebaye” and “Enaney.”
Rayvanny brings his own weight to the track, and the two voices trade the spotlight without crowding each other. The melody carries the romance, but the rhythm keeps it moving.
