Kenyan gospel duo Wapendwa Muziki return with David Bongo on “Wanitosha,” a Swahili worship single about faith and divine provision. The song arrived on October 15, 2026, and it draws from Psalm 23:1, which declares that the Lord is a shepherd and nothing is lacking.
Swahili worship carries the message here, so the record speaks to believers seeking encouragement. Wapendwa Muziki and David Bongo recorded it as a joint effort, while the release also coincided with a studio reveal celebration held in honour of David Bongo’s ministry.
Wapendwa Muziki have built a catalogue that moves across gospel sounds. Their past work includes the album “Amefanya Mungu” and “Bonge La Surprise,” and they have shared stages and sessions with names like David Bongo and Mesh Mpendwa.
The mood stays calm and devotional, which suits quiet reflection more than loud praise. Because the lyrics lean on contentment, the song works well for anyone tired of chasing approval. It asks listeners to rest in God’s provision instead.
