Wendy Moon joins Natiey Lepaka and producer DJ Tsp on “Dipelo,” a four-minute single built around shared vocals and songwriting. The Lekompo Music label tag sits on the Shazam page, while Amazon lists it as a Wendy Moon single. DJ Tsp handled production, and Shazam clocks the record at 4:09. Vocals and writing duties are split between Wendy Moon and Natiey Lepaka, so the arrangement carries two voices across the beat rather than one.
Wendy Moon was born in Botlokwa and has said she chose lekompo over any other genre. Her song “Metanso” became a hit in the province, and she went independent after parting ways with a production company. Her catalogue stays busy, with credits like “Theme” alongside Hit Boss SA, Lady Amar and Mash K, plus “Kea Ntoa” with Shebeshxt and Mr Diego.
Natiey Lepaka is no stranger to the scene either, with credits on “Bjaleni” and “10 Gram.” On Amazon Music, “Dipelo” sits at track 3, right after “Moleseng” with Percy5, Bl Zero, Moodee and Ice Cue. The production choice makes sense here, because DJ Tsp already knows how Wendy Moon’s voice moves.
