Nigerian rapper Zoro Swagbag returns with “Settings,” a fresh cut that adds to his growing catalog of indigenous hip-hop.
The song arrives with Savio Nwa Otu on board, while Izzy and MAsTerKraft handled the production. Zoro wrote it alongside KLモM, and the mixing and mastering followed. It also comes after “Big Shot,” his September release built around achievement, status, and cultural pride.
That pairing says plenty about where his head is at. Savio Nwa Otu trades lines with Zoro, so the record carries two voices instead of one. Meanwhile, Izzy and MAsTerKraft keep the backdrop rooted in the Igbo rap sound Zoro has built his name on.
His catalog backs that up. “Ogene” featured Flavor, “Achikolo” brought in Phyno, and he linked with Jeriq on “Nzogbu.” He also used “NNA (New National Anthem)” to speak on social issues in Nigeria.
So “Settings” fits neatly into a busy stretch for the rapper. Have you played it yet? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
