Asake returns with “M$NEY,” a 13-track album that runs 35 minutes and moves fast from prayer-like songs to street-level boasts. The project is his fourth studio album and his first since “Lungu Boy” in 2024.
It is also his first full release on his own Giran Republic label with EMPIRE. That detail gives the title extra weight, because the hustle he raps about now runs through his own structure.
The arrangement keeps things compact. “Intro” lasts just 26 seconds, while most songs sit between two and a half and three and a half minutes. Short tracks mean fewer wasted bars, so the Fuji-inspired sound blends with Afrobeats and Amapiano touches without dragging.
Guests stay few. DJ Snake joins on “WORSHIP,” which led the rollout, while Tiakola appears on “BADMAN GANGSTA” and Kabza De Small lands on “Asambe.” The rest of “M$NEY” is all Asake.
Streaming stats name “Forgiveness” as the most popular track so far. Have you played the album through yet? Drop the track you keep replaying in the comments below.
