Danny S – Low Key

Nigerian street-pop artist Danny S is back as “Low Key” lands, a record built for the quiet hours when the city slows. It arrives as a Papiwizzy song, so the production credit sits with the beatmaker rather than the singer. The track is already live across all major digital streaming services.

Before the release, Danny S turned promotion into a game. He challenged fans to sing the words correctly for a shot at ₦100,000, while also urging listeners to learn the lyrics line by line. That approach fits an artist who has always treated his audience as participants, not spectators. The early challenge gives “Low Key” a chance to travel further through fan videos and social media clips.

Yoruba expressions, strong vocal delivery and repeating phrases carry much of his musical identity. He started out with Shengbenne in 2013, dropped “Off The Lite” in 2017, then found wider recognition in 2018. He also runs Yorubadboi Music, so the business side stays close to the music.

Some songs chase the dancefloor, but this one seems content to sit in the background and let the mood do the work.
