DJ Chidez returns with a gospel-fusion record, as the curator drops “My Kind of God (Special Version)” for believers and street dreamers alike. The song is built on adoration, appreciation, and a steady declaration of faith. It carries a warm, mid-tempo groove instead of chasing a loud, crowded sound.
Delicate electric piano notes open the space, while crisp percussion shakers and a head-bobbing drum kick hold the rhythm together. Gentle guitar licks move over a fluid bassline, and the mix keeps plenty of headroom. DJ Chidez arranges with grace, handing over to the vocalists with heartfelt conviction and rich harmonies. But the writing stays simple, turning pure praise into a joyous statement of unmerited grace.
That focus on gratitude gives “My Kind of God (Special Version)” a clear purpose. It speaks to daily believers and anyone holding on to unshakable faith. The message never gets buried under the production.
