South African Amapiano DJ and producer DJ Jaivane returns with a 15-track album titled “Mended Pieces,” out through Ziiki Media. The project lands on October 9, 2026, and it runs long. Most tracks sit between six and eight minutes, so the full set passes the 100-minute mark. This is a body of work built for patient listening and long DJ sessions, not quick skips.
Wesley Keys carries much of the vocal weight here. He appears on seven of the 15 songs, including “Ingoma,” “Sebenza,” “Ungekho,” and “Izolo.” BitterSoul shows up on six, while Smilo and Tots SA each appear on four. Because the same voices keep returning, “Mended Pieces” feels like one connected conversation rather than a pile of guest spots. KayMo Grillz opens the album, Natasha MD sings on “Indoda Enjani,” and De Rose features on “Bade” and “Phola.” Lady Du, uLazi, and Springle join forces on “Malume,” while Zem_sa closes the project on “Ibele.”
DJ Jaivane also has recent form to lean on. His 2025 album “Onkgopotse” came before this one, and his earlier “uLala Kanjani” with LeeMcKrazy and Skandisoul dates back to 2023.
