South African DJ and producer DJ MOSCOW has linked up with Jinger Stone and Tumisho for “Magadi.” The track arrives through Africori, and it lands while fans are still spinning his SAMA32-nominated hit “Ungangilimazi,” which pulled more than 23 million views.
So there is real weight on this one. “Magadi” is a smooth Amapiano cut built on deep log drums, rich harmonies, and a relaxed groove, and the title points to bride price or lobola in Sotho and Tswana culture. That gives the song a strong tie to traditional romance and relationships.
The collaboration also extends DJ MOSCOW and Tumisho’s long-standing musical partnership. The two have worked together across several of his projects, including music from Amanxeba and Amaphutha, with Tumisho adding vocals and instrumentation to the sound.
Jinger Stone and Tumisho carry their parts well, and their performances keep the record engaging without crowding the production. Given the run he has been on, this feels like a natural next step rather than a sharp turn.
