Echo Deep closes out his latest body of work with “Umthandazo (Radio Edit),” a record that brings Cnethemba Gonelo and Scrooge KMOA into the fold. The song sits as the eleventh and final track on the album, so it carries the weight of a closing statement.
It arrives as a 2026 release, and the three artists share the load across the composition. The radio edit trims things down for a wider audience, yet it keeps the same mood the record had built from the start. Because Echo Deep shaped the album as one full listen, this final cut lands as part of a bigger picture instead of a loose single.
The project leans on that whole-album approach throughout, and “Umthandazo (Radio Edit)” fits neatly into the plan. It gives the tracklist a proper send-off rather than trailing off. Fans who followed the full project will recognise how much the closing slot matters here.
