Fireboy DML and Lojay link up again on “GODDESS,” a warm Afropop love song lifted from the singer’s album “ZUKO!”.
The track lands at number four on the project, sitting just after the dancehall-leaning “CLAAT!” with Masicka. Black Culture is among the producers credited on the record.
It follows “Letting Go,” the pair’s 2024 collaboration from “adedamola,” which Godomarr produced and both singers wrote together. That one dealt with the sting of a breakup.
“GODDESS” flips that mood entirely, trading heartbreak for admiration. Fireboy brings his smooth, melodic tone, while Lojay adds the silky delivery that keeps him in demand for love songs.
Born Adedamola Adefolahan, Fireboy signed with YBNL Nation in 2018 and has stayed with the label since. “ZUKO!” also features Judah Earl, JAZZWRLD, and Thukuthela.
So where does this sit in his current run? Between the club-ready cuts and the softer moments, “GODDESS” reads as a deliberate step toward romance.
