Kibonge Wa Yesu – Siku Yangu

Tanzanian gospel minister Kibonge Wa Yesu returns with “Siku Yangu,” a new single that puts his vocals right at the front. The Swahili title translates to “My Day,” and the record leans on patience and faith through hard seasons.

Jovankeyzer handled the audio production, while Mr. Azalia directed the video. The song carries the declaration “Sio Mwisho Wa safari yangu,” meaning “It is not the end of my journey.” That line anchors “Siku Yangu” and gives the delivery its weight. Kibonge Wa Yesu does not rush the phrasing, yet he keeps the energy steady across the record.

He started his music career in 2015 with “NATAKA NIKUJUE” and rose to prominence with the 2017 song “SITOKI.” Recent releases include “Oluwa” and “Usinyamaze,” plus the EP “Grateful Heart.” He has shared remix credits with Asagwile, Naomi Joseph, and Simon Mlinda.

Gospel listeners in Tanzania have plenty of options right now, so a single lives or dies on how the message lands. Is “Siku Yangu” already on your playlist? Drop your verdict in the comments below.
