King Dr. Saheed Osupa is at it again, as he pushes the envelope with another beautiful song titled “Shakerike” off the “Acapella & Metamorphosis EP.”
“Shakerike” is a different kind of energy than the other tracks on the EP. This one is more lively, more playful, to get people moving. The drums knock with that proper Fuji bounce, the percussion is sharp, and the whole arrangement carries that party-ready feel Osupa fans always look forward to.
Olufimo flows through the song so effortlessly. He delivers smoothly, wittily, and full of lines so clever you have to rewind to hear what he just said. He juggles words, throws accolades around, and rides the beat like only a Fuji master can. This record breathes confidence, that signature confidence.
The balance is what makes “Shakerike” go. It’s fun, but still has the depth that Osupa is known for. The song is the perfect song to either dance to at an owambe or just vibe to on a regular day, and it delivers.
